On the Light Plan or higher, you can register language-specific translations through Shopify's theme translations for titles and button text set individually on an app block or app embed. Shared text entered on the app's "Customize the table of contents" screen is not included in theme translations.
Translation requires the Light Plan or higher.
Enable "Override the app settings for this block" on the target block and save the text in the source language. For setup steps, see Set Title and Button Text per Block.
(1) Save the per-block text
Enable override on the target app block or app embed, enter the text in the source language, then select "Save."
(2) Open Localize
Select that block in the theme editor, then select "Localize" from the upper-right menu.
(3) Enter translations and save
Choose a language, enter translations for the title and button text, then save.
After saving, open the target page on your online store in that language and check that the translated title and button text appear. The table of contents headings themselves are generated from the body in that language.
You can also open theme extension translation fields from Shopify admin → Settings → Languages, or from Shopify Translate & Adapt.
Shared text: Titles and button text entered on the app's "Customize the table of contents" screen are not included in theme translations.
Body headings: Table of contents headings are generated from the page body in the language being displayed. If the body has been translated, its headings appear in the table of contents.
Blocks where shared settings override is off: Per-block text and its translations are not used; shared app text is displayed instead.
