On the Light Plan or higher, RuffRuff Table of Contents lets you set a title and button text for each app block or app embed separately from the shared app settings. Text set here can have language-specific translations registered through the theme's content translations.
Per-block text is applied on the Light Plan or higher. The "Table of Contents" block in the theme editor displays "Available on Light plan or above. Settings will not be applied on the Free plan." On the Free Plan, the fields appear, but their contents are not applied.
Add the "Table of Contents" app block to the target template, or an app embed on a vintage theme.
If you have not changed button text in either the shared or per-block settings, the online store buttons remain hide / show / show all in English. To change the shared text, see Customize the Table of Contents.
(1) Open the Table of Contents app block or app embed
In the theme editor, select the target "Table of Contents" app block, or the app embed on a vintage theme.
(2) Enable the shared settings override
Under "Text," enable "Override the app settings for this block." When it is off, text from the shared app settings is used.
(3) Enter the text and save
Enter "Title," "Show button label," "Hide button label," and "Show all button label," then select "Save" in the upper-right corner of the theme editor.
After saving, open a page using that template on your online store and check that the entered title and button text appear in the table of contents. Templates where shared settings are not overridden display the text from the shared app settings.
Title: Leaving it blank hides the title on this block only.
Show, hide, and show all button labels: If a field is blank, the text from the shared app settings is used.
Show all button: Appears only when there are more items than the "Initial Display Lines" setting.
