On development stores created with a Partner account (excluding Shopify Plus development environments), you can subscribe to paid plans at no charge to test their features.
This applies to development stores created with a Partner account. Shopify Plus development environments are not eligible for these no-charge subscriptions. For development store requirements, see Shopify Help Center: Development stores.
Cost: You can subscribe to every plan at no charge.
Features: You can test the features of your subscribed plan without restrictions.
How to subscribe: Subscribe to the plan you want to use from the app's "Plans" screen.
Note: When you publish or transfer a development store, the plan you subscribed to at no charge is canceled. To keep using the app, subscribe to a plan again on the published store.
A free trial may not be included after publishing or transfer. For details, see Free Trial.
To try a paid plan on Shopify Plus Staging or Sandbox, you need a dedicated URL. Request one using the following steps.
(1) Install the app in both production and the development environment
Install RuffRuff Table of Contents on both your Shopify Plus production store and the target development environment. Installing it in production allows us to confirm that the development environment is associated with an actual production store.
(2) Request a dedicated URL
Use the contact form to request a dedicated URL and include the following information.
The production environment's myshopify.com domain
The development environment's myshopify.com domain
The plan you want to use
Submitting the contact form completes your request for a dedicated URL.
