Development Stores

Pricing and How to Subscribe

This applies to development stores created under a Shopify Partner account (excluding Plus stores).

  • Cost: All plans are available free of charge

  • Features: All features are available for testing without restrictions

  • Subscription: Subscribe to your desired plan from the Pricing Plans page

When Your Subscription Is Canceled (Important Notes)

When a development store is published or transferred (ownership transferred to a merchant), any plan subscribed to free of charge will be automatically canceled.

To continue using the app after publishing or transferring the store, you will need to subscribe to a plan again.

For Plus Store Staging Environments

If you would like to test a paid plan in a Plus store's development (staging) environment, please contact us and we will issue a dedicated URL that allows a free subscription for the staging environment.

Steps:

  1. Install the app on both the production environment and the development (staging) environment of the Plus store

  2. Submit a request for a dedicated URL via the contact form, including the following information:

    • Store ID of the production environment (in the format XXXXX.myshopify.com)

    • Store ID of the development (staging) environment (in the format XXXXX.myshopify.com)
