On the Light Plan or higher, RuffRuff Table of Contents lets you add HTML or Liquid, such as banners and related links, above or below the table of contents.
Custom Liquid is applied on the Light Plan or higher. The "Table of Contents" block in the theme editor displays "Available on Light plan or above. Settings will not be applied on the Free plan." On the Free Plan, the fields appear, but their contents are not applied.
Add the "Table of Contents" app block to the target template, or an app embed on a vintage theme. For setup steps, see App Block vs. App Embed.
(1) Open the Table of Contents app block or app embed
In the theme editor, select the "Table of Contents" app block on the target template, or the app embed on a vintage theme. "Custom Liquid (above)" and "Custom Liquid (below)" appear on the right.
(2) Enter custom Liquid
Enter custom HTML or Liquid code in "Custom Liquid (above)" or "Custom Liquid (below)."
(3) Save
Select "Save" in the upper-right corner of the theme editor.
Note: Custom Liquid requires code knowledge. If you do not understand the code, ask your development agency or an engineer.
After saving, open the target page where the table of contents is displayed on your online store and check that the added content appears above or below it. On the Free Plan, entered content is not applied.
